Good day, and welcome to the National History Files of Bio Repen. You have chosen to access file three, which contains information on the races of Bio Repen. If this choice was incorrect, please go back and access a different file. If this choice was correct, please feel free to read on. Races of Bio Repen*
Human being - one of the most common races. Humans design was the base for most Form designs. They are bipeds, as well as mammals. Their adult height may span between four feet and six feet on average. They are defined by their simple design. Most human features come in pairs; they have only two eyes, two arms, two hands, two legs, and two feet. They have five fingers on each hand and five toes on each foot. They are one of the few species that still produce sexually. They have fleshy muscles that must be worked and toned. Most appear similar, though coloring and temperament make each one unique.
Saturtian - began inhabiting Bio Repen only within the last century. Saturtians are always very tall, typically over six feet. Their defining features include their six appendages: four arms and two legs. These limbs are all very slim and lean. Very little work is needed for a Saturtian to obtain ideal muscle tone. Coloration between all Saturtians vary. Their exposure and reaction to sun light on Bio Repen is the main factor in the color of their skin. Common colors are shades of blue, green, orange, and gray. Saturtians have found ways to fit in to any occupation on Bio Repen, but it has become very common to see them emerging into fashion and acting. Their sleek bodies make them very popular in these areas. Their reproduction mostly involves outside fertilization. Females lay eggs. For the most part, they mate casually and do not believe in marriage or strict relationships.
Nepturn - most similar to Human beings, except for their coloration. Nepturns have adapted to the light of Bio Repen and their skin always reflects as a blue or green shade. Their heads are wider than most races, and their eyes wider apart. Their bodies are small and stout. They are bipeds with stump-like legs. Their torso is usually thin with the skin stretched tightly across their bony structures. Their bones are flexible and almost hollow, making them very light. All Nepturns release natural lubricants through the pores of their skin, but most who live in Bio Repen carry some type of cloth or towel with them to wipe off these oils. It is rumored that Nepturn oils can add a radiant glow and softness to human skin; it can be found for sale in exotic shops for high prices. For a Nepturn to sell their oil is considered extremely trashy though, and those who do are usually very desperate for money. Nepturns reproduce by a form of cloning using an antennae that grows on their lower back like a tail. It takes about three years for one to mature. It separates from it's host and becomes a new Nepturn child. Nepturns have the option of trimming this growth so that it does not mature into a child.
Martian - the smallest of Bio Repen races, most stand between three and four feet tall. Because of their small stature, Martians make up for their height by being extremely intellectual. They are not made for any sort of straining labor. Evolution has dealt them a third eye, located on their forehead above their flat nose. This gives them a deep perception. They are also bipeds with long fingers and small feet. When they walk, they must always run to keep up with their larger companions. Martian skin is rusty or red. Their eyes are very wide and their irises are typically much larger than the irises of other races. Green or yellow are usually the color of their eyes, though some may range into orange or even teal. For Martians, a symbol of great beauty is if their third eye is a different color than the other two; most have at least a small difference.
"Form" - Forms are always different; they can look like machines or like androids. Their appearance can be mechanical or organic. Most organic Forms look like Humans because they have the simplest body structure. Some Forms are mass produced and live as individuals, accessible to all humans and used as public computers. Some fight for independence and refuse to be used by humans. Others are created by individual people and work as maids or personal computers. Forms can be either male or female in appearance. There are no limits to a Forms appearance or even their intelligence. They are limited only by their creator. They do not breathe and may require routine maintenance.
* It should be noted that most races that inhabit Bio Repen now do not breathe oxygen. Working along the lines of Clean Breathing Act of 2235 A.D, the creation of the Atmosphere created a hybrid gas which allowed all races to breathe comfortably inside of the Atmosphere. Aside from Bio Repen, the only place that any of the races can breathe properly is their respective origin planets.
