Mayes shrugged as well, seeming very casual about this situation. "I'm merely trying to offer an explanation to this strange occurance. I mean, you did just hack the leg off of an important congressman."
She glanced at Lolita and sighed a bit. "Lolita, were your recording devices turned on at the moment the SK unit attacked?"
"They were, ma'am," she answered, cold as ever.
"Set recording devices to manual. You're memory will be cleared of useless files upon return to the studio."

SK looked from Lolita, back to Mayes. There was something about Lolita that activated a certian emotion inside hsi central core, but he couldn't place it. Better to overcome it with different emotions.
"Query: Mistress, would I be able to have a copy of my immortal and very timley assassination prowness powers?"
He asked, his head tilting sideways. Yes, overcome this strange, new emotion with his basic assassination program.

Mayes's tone was dark and threatening, and she was very serious. She kept accusing eyes intent on the SK unit to make sure he understood her.
